Ridgecrest Holiday Party!

Our annual Holiday Party will be in the Trini Mendenhall Community Center (1414 Wirt Rd) on Monday, December 5th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.

Please bring your favorite dish to share with everyone. The Ridgecrest Civic Club will furnish a ham and turkey. Hope to see you there!

Super Bowl Touchdown Tour

Super Bowl 51 is Coming to a Neighborhood Near You
Join in the Excitement with the Touchdown Tour!
It is FREE!

The Touchdown Tour is the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee’s traveling celebration of football. It will travel all over Houston throughout the fall, raising awareness and excitement in the community for Super Bowl LI, which will be played at NRG Stadium on Feb. 5, 2017. Each stop of the tour will feature games, exhibits, appearances, food, and fun for people of all ages. It is all free!

District A CIP Meeting – Monday, February 22, 2016

The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) meeting for District A will take place on Monday, February 22, 2016. CIP meetings are held annually by each district to discuss the ongoing and upcoming CIP projects. The CIP includes large, long-term projects such as: parks, buildings, roads, and libraries. These projects do not include day-to-day-maintenance of streets. This meeting provides an opportunity to receive your valuable input about what projects you would like to see in District A.

Mayor Turner is scheduled to attend.

Please submit your CIP requests by emailing DistrictA@houstontx.gov or by calling the District A office at 832-393-3010 so we can submit your requests to the proper departments before this meeting. You can also submit your requests in person at the meeting.

Ridgecrest Christmas Party

Happy New Year to Everyone!

The Ridgecrest Civic Club would like to wish all of our residents a very Special Happy New Year!

We thank each and everyone of you for all the great things you do for Ridgecrest. Some important things you do are: deliver our newsletters, come to our meetings, put up your garbage can each pick up day. Paying your dues, Volunteer when needed, hold office(s) and most of all for choosing Ridgecrest as your home!

Our next meeting will be the 4th Monday in the month of January because of Martin Luther King Day. After that, please see the below schedule day of our meeting. Please clip out and put in a convenient place so you will have it.

It is our hopes to have speakers in 2015. If you have someone who you think would be of interest, please let us know.

Please join the District A community for a free, fun filled evening and movie night on Friday, November 14, 2014!

Remember the Titans will play on the big screen at Spring Woods High School (2045 Gessner Drive) beginning at sundown. This football themed evening will include special appearances by the Texans Cheerleaders and Toro, face-painting, a caricature artist, and an inflatable bounce house.

Spring Woods High School’s booster clubs will be on site selling food,and various food trucks will sell drinks and desserts.

Bring the family out, and enjoy a night outdoors!
